The Offenhauser Dual Port 360 can best be described as two manifolds in one. The entire manifold is divided from the base of the carburetor to the head flange. The percentage is, of course, a closely guarded secret on this patented design that varies from engine to engine. The result is low end torque and economy of a 180 degree intake with the performance of a true 360 degree manifold.

If the vehicle came equipped with a single barrel or a 2 barrel carb, and a 2 barrel or 4 barrel is not offered as a factory option in California, then a carburetor of a different size and type can only be used for off-road or racing applications.
