Beautiful depiction of a young girl in puffy skirt, this little table bell is made in cast in brass and has beautiful detail. It also looks like it had an Ormolu type finish or gold plating which is mostly gone. It has a beautiful patina mostly from regular wear and no decay except the ringer is iron and a bit rusty.
Bell measures almost 3" tall, her skirt is 2 1/8" wide by 1 1/4" deep .
Marked inside the front "J.H., Deposee, N:1". Very likely a French maker. From the style of her hat it probably dates from the 1900s.
