The 2nd pass roller is the most common tray 3 paper jam failure in the hp 5si and 8000. The roller will wear and cause consistant paper jams located on the right access door. We have now included the 5204 clutch with the 2nd pass roller for a great repair kit.

TECH NOTE: A simple way to know if your printer suffers from a worn 2nd pass roller is to simply load 11"/17" size paper or legal size in tray 3 if your printer prints without a paper jam than you can be sure that you need to replace the 2nd pass roller.
