INDICATIONS
Large Breed Senior* is formulated to meet all the nutritional requirements of a
senior dog weighing 25kg or more, from 7 years of age. Giant breeds of dog,
weighing 50kg or more may benefit from switching to Science Plan* Canine Large
Breed Senior at 5 years of age.
Objective - To avoid excessive levels of those nutrients which may have a role
in the development of disorders typically seen during this lifestage and
help maintain a normal level of activity.
Science Plan* Large Breed Senior is supplemented with:
1. L-carnatine to help maintain optimal body weight (helping to avoid extra stress
on the joints), lean muscle mass and muscle strength and
2. the chondroprotective agents glucosamine hydrochloride and chondroitin sulphate,
natural 'building blocks' for joint cartilige, to help maintain healthy joints and
facilitate joint mobility.
Science Plan* Large Breed Senior* also contains a Superior Antioxidant Formula to
reduce oxidative damage.
NOT RECOMMENDED FOR
1. Cats,
2. Puppies prior to maturity,
3. Bitches in pregnancy and in lactation bitches should be switched to
Science Plan* Puppy* or Science Plan* Puppy* Mini.

FEEDING GUIDE
Many factors such as environmental conditions, activity level, stage of life
and individual variation (temperament, stress) can affect the amount of food
needed. Adult dogs should be fed only sufficient food to maintain their ideal
body weight.
The following feeding ranges are intended as a starting point only and should
be adjusted as required to maintain optimal body weight.
