The Shark is a very cool and unusual box. It can be used as a standard stompbox, or rack mounted, and switched via a standard footswitch w/ 1/4" jack. The shark has controls for either overdrive, or 2 different distortions. It also has separate bass, mid, and treble controls, as well as a built in Hush noise gate which works very well. The Overdrive has much more gain, and harmonics than a standard Tubescreamer. switch to either distortion, and the harmonics, and sustain are amazing. This pedal goes anywhere from subtle blues to full bore hard rock.
