ID RAW 420 Forged Titanium Driver
The ID RAW 420 marries the best features of the ID 420 and the DC Tour V450 with some unique new features of it's own.
The ID Raw 420 is finished in an unusual black TiCN finish which actually strengthens the grooveless SP 700 Titanium Face.
The ID RAW 420 is designed with 0" of Roll in the face. As clubheads get taller, a traditional Roll radius of 8 to 11 inches will have the effect of adding loft at the top of the head and reducing loft at the bottom. The golfer who is not consistently hitting the face in the exact center will often hit the ball either too high or too low, resulting in lost distance. The ID RAW 420 promises better consistency of ball flight every time.
The ID RAW 420 features a Wrap Around Cup Face Technology which not only makes the face very forgiving, it enabled the largest sweet spot of any driver head. Normal welded in face inserts restrict the trampoline effect of the face at the weld locations. A Cup Face gets around these limitations by moving the welds off the face and only the crown, sides and sole.
In addition to being a Cup Face, the face is also Variable Thickness, which maximizes the C.O.R. taking it to the legal USGA limit for the longest drives you have ever hit.
Strategically positioned replaceable weights allow heavier clubs to be made in support of the trend towards shorter and heavier drivers. A 5g weight is standard, and additional repalacement weights are available.
A FREE matching headcover and ferrule are included, along with a weight wrench.
