The Mares Volo is an excellent choice for people who like to swim FAST! The Volo incorporates the use of a pivoting blade to make your motion easier and more efficient in the water. The efficiency is accomplished by the design of the fin forcing more water behind you; lessoning the effort required to propel yourself.

Mares has added a locking system to the now standard skiing type adjustable bindings. Which wouldn 't be used except in extreme situations, but it's nice to know it's there just in case.

All in All the Mares Volo Fins are the absolute best all around fins I have tried. (and now own) If you want superior performance in stability, power vs. stress, and comfort then the Mares Volo fins are for you!
