Chair Fitness provides a fun and effective workout including warm-up, resistance training, cool down and stretch. All exercises are performed from a chair. The program works on the principal of S.A.I.D., which is specific adaptation to imposed demands. Muscles respond to exercises designed to improve strength and flexibility. Blanche Black is a trained R.N., a registered strength trainer and fitness instructor with B.C.R.P.A. and Rehab Assistant with Therapy Services. She is also an individual strength trainer at her own Fit as a Fiddle Gym.
VOLUME 2 Offers a 2 day plan of 30 mins. each,a broader movement application and progressive strength training using free weights for added resistance.
