Antique Japanese kimono from Taisho period (1912-1926). This silk kimono is completely hand made, hand sewn and hand dyed using the yuzen technique. The silk crepe material also has a wavy damask weave pattern. The color is deep pink, a true dark pink. The decoration consists of bamboo and flowers. Fully lined with the top 2/3rds in white and bottom a light purplish color. The length is 59" and the width from sleeve ends is 49". In very good condition. Beauty in simplicity.
