Why "G-MAXX" fish finder is better
compared to simular product??
A similar product sold in the portable fish-finder market is an entry-level version. It displays fish in FIXED GRAPHICS and the BOTTOM STRUCTURE IS PRE-PROGRAMMED. When finding a school of fish, it shows only a FIXED-SIZE fish ID. You know fish are near, but you have no idea about the size of the fish. The similar unit can't represent the real situation under the water.
Our new "G-MAXX" is especially designed with a display resolution of 64x64 pixels on a typical dot matrix screen to ACTUALLY SCOPE and TRULY DEMONSTRATE all situations and responses. However, G-MAXX GMF-302 not only provides you the dot matrix screen but also offers you a choice of viewing the fish ID by just pressing a button. Ice Fishing
To find out a right point for Ice fishing that could be a difficult matters. But, using our product makes it very easy and no more hassle of cutting a hole after hole.
First find out your ideal right point or situation, clear away the snow to expose the ice surface and ensure the surface is smooth. Place a small quantity liquid water on the ice and set the transducer on it, allowing transducer to freeze to the ice. Prevent any air pockets between the transducer and ice, which will prevent fish finder to work properly. In this area, select sensitivity to "H" position. Following conditions are best fit for fish finder.
1) Ice thickness less then 10 inches
2) Bottom depth less then 4 meter / 13 feet
3) In Muddy district thickness best less 6 inches
4) Fish size over 12 inches will easily be search.
Attention: To remove the sonar from the frozen ice, gently tap the sonar at the base with your hand. If it does not come loose, spray a small liquid water around the transducer surface and ice. Repeat steps until sonar can be removed easily. Remember not to use a blunt object to strike the transducer which may damage it.
If your checking point is unsatisfying, find another spot and repeat as above steps until your ideal location is found.
If you already cut an ice hole and have been fishing, but fishes are sparce, use horizontal searching method (Install and operate refer Horizontal searching)
(Notice: to cut a new ice hole, it may generate some noise and signals would interfere fishes living environment and they would frighten leave and hideaway, after they felt in safety and will roam back again.)
