Movitos is a new USB portable desktop which runs from USB sticks, iPods, and other USB drives. Movitos boots and runs entirely from the USB drive. All your files and settings are automatically copied to the USB drive and reloaded the next time you start Movitos. Carry your desktop with you, wherever you go.

Movitos is available here as a download, or on a 1GB ready-to-run USB memory stick.Movitos currently requires 545MB of drive space for the English version, and 600MB for French and German. To run Movitos from an iPod or other MP3 player, copy the files and burn a boot CD. It is not recommended to make the iPod or MP3 player bootable (although it is possible).
Note to iPod users: Movitos runs on the PC, not on the iPod itself. The iPod's operating system is not changed or replaced. Movitos is easy to use. If you are familiar with Windows, Mac or Linux desktops, then you can use Movitos. The focus is on everday usage and includes all the tools you need for checking your email, browsing the web, writing documents, doing calculations, planning your time, listening to music, watching movies and playing games. Movitos is multi-lingual (English, French, German, sofar). Keyboards are supported for many languages.
For the download you will be sent a login by email. Tools for creating a bootable USB drive are included as a seperate package, as well as a boot CD image for computers which cannot boot from USB.** Please make sure you provide a valid email address when you order the download version, or type an alternative address into the comment box. **If you order a USB drive we will prepare it and ship it to you. Note: You will receive your download login normally within 24 hours. We have to check payments manually for security reasons. So please be a little patient for a few hours.
