Micro helicopters contain some of the smallest and most advanced circuitry in the RC industry. They are also the most vulnerable during a crash. Crashing may break electrical insulation as well as structural components. If this happens, the short circuit could damage ESCs or LiPoly batteries. Fusing the battery or motor wires will protect against short circuits and other harmful electrical current spikes.

The 2A and 5A fuse packages include six fuses of the desired rating with one fuse holder. The 7A fuse package includes 5 fuses without the fuse holder. They are to be used as replacement fuses when the 5A fuses keep blowing. The fuse holder can be soldered in-line with ESCs or motors. The fuses can be easily replaced using tweezers or needle-nose pliers.

Please note that these fuses have been known to blow in some hard crashes. If the electronics don\'t work after a crash, check the fuse. Also, placing the fuse between the motor and ESC will cause it to blow when it is way under the current rating. This is because the motor causes voltage and current spikes that are above the fuse rating. For best performance, place the fuse between the battery and ESC.
