Info: The concept behind Mick Moloney's latest release is intriguing to chronicle Irish immigrant life in late 19th Century America through the songs of Harrigan and Braham a famed song writing duo that formed in the 1870s and went on to write some of America's most popular songs of the era. Many of Harrigan and Braham's songs later became the basis for the full length theatrical productions that dominated the New York stage late in the 19th Century; these productions were carried from coast to coast by touring companies throughout the late 1800s. "McNALLY'S ROW OF FLATS" showcases Mick Moloney's particular genius for bringing the past to life through music. Assisted by some of today's finest traditional Irish music practioners Moloney has created a true masterpiece that at once revitalizes and honours this fascinating collection of songs.
