This informative 8-page brochure can be displayed in hospitals, waiting rooms, schools, and pharmacies. The brochure educates healthcare workers and patients to get "back to basics" with a few simple and inexpensive behaviors that will prevent disease transmission. It covers seven infectious disease prevention areas: hand washing; cleaning and disinfecting surfaces; handling and preparing food safely; immunizing children and adults; using antibiotics appropriately; keeping pets healthy and immunized; and avoiding wild animals and insects.
The brochure was developed by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Coordinating Center for Infectious Diseases, National Center for Infectious Diseases in partnership with Reckitt Benckiser Inc., the makers of LYSOL Brand Products.
