This self-study course is designed to provide environmental health workers with state-of-the-art skills and knowledge needed to understand and apply the principles of environmental health and sanitary science to the prevention and control of both acute and chronic environmental diseases in the community while minimizing negative impacts on the environment.
The course is designed to provide a common education base for federal, state, and local officials responsible for implementation of environmental health standards.
