This self-study course reviews the fundamentals of arithmetic proportion, exponents, and geometry. This program was designed to improve skills in applying these concepts to practical situations related to environmental health. Especially useful to those planning to take the Principles of Epidemiology self-study course.
Target Audience: Sanitarians, environmental health specialists, and related public health workers. The course will also be of particular value to employees of non-governmental organizations that are deployed to underdeveloped regions of the world.
Prerequisite: degree in science, including environmental health sciences, public health, engineering, or other scientific technical areas.
