This colorful, foldout pocket guide from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's Choose Respect Campaign is specifically designed for girls to spread awareness about dating abuse prevention.
This brochure stresses the importance of respect in all relationships and reminds teen girls to respect family, teachers, classmates, and friends. A quiz is included on each guide, where teens can find out their "Respect Scale." The brochure also encourages the following behaviors:
- Speak up.
- Step in.
- Talk it out later.
- Talk to an adult.
- Go for help.
A Spanish-language version, as well as English and Spanish versions for guys are also available.
