Morton Lochs Nature Reserve, near Tayport, Fife
The Scottish National Heritage Morton Lochs Nature Reserve, near Tayport, Fife, looking NW towards Tentsmuir Point. The reserve lies at the western edge of the Tentsmuir Forest Reserve Area. The straight line of the forest road running diagonally from top to bottom right follows the line of a dismantled railway. The autumn colours of the deciduous larch which line this road contrast with the evergreen conifer blocks on either side. Free-range pig farming occupies the bottom right corner, with mixed farming on either side of the reserve.
