A reissue of this superb anthology of Cajun & Creole music recorded in the early 1970's at informal sessions in Louisiana. 27 cracking tracks by modern masters of the tradition including Nathan Abshire The Balfa Brothers Alphonse Ardoin Dennis McGee Shirley Bergeron And Canray Bee & Freeman Fontenot. This digipak release with its striking cover-photo of accordionist Bee Fontenot comes with an excellent 28 page booklet with notes in English & French plus rare photos. A highly recommended Cajun anthology which is an equally ideal introduction for 'beginners' as it is a satisfying project for collectors of the genre.
