A member of the Grand OlÆ Opry by age 21 and a part of the legendary Louisiana Hayride broadcast with the young Elvis energetic and authentic Cajun fiddle master Doug Kershaw had sold millions of records well before he appeared on the premiere episode of The Johnny Cash Show in June 1969.
