Info: Houston-based Joe Hughes (1938-2003) was not as well known as his peers Albert Collins and Johnny Copeland but he was a solid electric bluesman with a warm voice and a concise stinging guitar style. Active in the '50s and '60s he then suffered a dry spell before coming back into the limelight with some strong albums and international tours during the last 15 years of his life. This concert was recorded in Groningen The Netherlands in 1988 just as he was being 'rediscovered' .. Extra features Biography Picture Gallery and previews of other DVDs in this series.
