AB Single Drop Pierced Earrings
If you were a photographer, you'd probably say AB stands for A B#@ch because AB is one of the hardest stones to photograph! But AB actually stands for Aurora Borealis. It's a higher quality stone than standard Diamonte or Swarovski and it gets it's name from the way it reflects light. It does this far more intensely than Swarovski. When under normal lighting, AB and Swarovski look pretty similar - both look like clear white diamonte. But when light hits an AB stone get ready for a rainbow explosion of colours! Bright yellows, pinks, red and blue hues get cast in all directions, just like the way the Aurora Borealis turns the sun's rays into a kaleidescope of beautiful colours in the Northern Skies. Small wonder then that this fantastic sparkler is considered more precious than normal Swarovski.
In this particular design, fine flexible stands of AB stones adorn a simple drop, giving colour to a classic design. At eight centimeters high these are very sexy.
