Turquoise/Aqua Glaze Stoneware Bowl in the hard to find 5" size. The upper and lower rim of the wide band are unglazed. I'm told that the top of the rim was left that way to use as a knife sharpener. The bowl has a stepped effect and looks great on a shelf. Light utensil markings and a bit of soiling on the rim. All other minor flaws seem to be part of the original condition. Ex: areas where glaze did not take, a rough edge under the band. No cracks. Marked 5 IN on the bottom by way of an impression prior to firing and glazing.
