About the Author
John Ledbury has taught psychology for almost two decades, and has been a closet astrologer for a decade more. In this book he argues that astrology presents us with a genuine phenomenon which is deserving of serious study by the scientific community. John Ledbury holds degrees in psychology and English and a masters in education. He has also been interested in astrology for many years. In this book he argues that the work of the great seventeenth century astrologers such as William Lilly is better understood through the findings of modern cognitive psychology than through the victorian theosophical model bequeathed by such as Charles Carter and Alan Leo.
