The soap box
derby was a magical time in a boy's life. The building of the soap box car and
the excitement of the race was a wonderful and special time in his life. This
collection of two films and a newsreel clip will bring back these exciting memories
of yesteryear, showing the joy children could have in simpler times when they
spent days and weeks building and testing a project car culminating in an exciting
high speed race down the track.
