Synopsis:
The saga of Shigeno Shuichi's Initial D continues in Initial D: Fourth Stage Vol. 5. This DVD collects episodes 13-15 of the series, which originally aired on Japanese Pay-Per-View television. Fourth Stage picks up after the events of the Initial D Third Stage Movie, with Takumi Fujiwara joining forces with Ryosuke and Keisuke Takahashi to form an elite racing team dubbed "Project D". The group travels around Japan challenging local teams in order to establish their supremacy of the Japan street racing scene, but the opponents they face are far more skilled than those from Takumi's home turf of Akina. To complicate matters further, Takumi's father, legendary racer Bunta Fujiwara, comes out of racing retirement to challenge his own son on the Akina downhill...
