Lovely 10K GF Bulova ladies watch with unusual centralized lugs. Circa 1930s or so, I would say. The gold casing is petite and elegant and holds a glass lens, and a silver, gold, and black watch face. The numerals are painted black and gold. The watch is marked on the face, the stem, the back and on the inside. Seven jewels. The manufacturer's number is 799708 and the back is marked Bulova A9. The inside of the back is marked BULOVA, 10K Rolled Gold Plate Bezel, Stainless Back, NEW YORK and has a handwritten number 59511. The working parts are marked Unadjusted, 7 Seven Jewels, BXW, 68K, Swiss J9, and Bulova Watch Co. The latter mark indicates that the watch was made after 1923. There is a slow/fast adjustment arm to the right of the jewel. The watchband is unmarked, but appears to be leather on the underside and suede on the top. I would guess it to be a replacement band. All watch parts are intact, and move as they should, but it appears that the mainspring may need to be replaced to get this beauty working again. Price has been reduced from $125 as an allowance for repairs by the customer.
