Novarossi PLUS 12-3 On/Road Race Engine
This is the Novarossi Plus 12-3 on road competition engine from Novarossi!
It is designed in order to offer the maximum possible torque and RPM on a 3 port engine, in accordance with the EFRA Rules.
Engine and is specially made for the 1/10 On/Road class.
Specifications:
Rear ball bearing: The rear ball bearing is available with 11 ceramic balls for PLUS 12-3C and with 9 balls for PLUS 12-3.
Sleeve: The 3 ports sleeve is made in hard-chromed brass alloy ( true ABC construction).
Crankcase: The crankcase is higher and has an extra cooling fin for improved cooling.
Long stroke: This engine type has a longer stroke than other .12 engines.
This provides more torque at low rpm.
Piston: The piston is realized with a new technique developed by Novarossi (microcasting); it is stronger and lighter than standard pistons; it maintains a better compression at higher temperatures.
Crankshaft: The crankshaft is made from high quality steel and is available in "TURBO SG" version. It has a diameter of 11.50mm. The increased diameter provides more torsional stiffness.
