Our pre-1930s classic bentwood European Beech frame with plywood seat chair in dark oak finish is 34.65"h, 20.87'd, 16.14"w, seat is 18.11"h (880mmh, 530mmd, 410mmw, seat is 460mmh). We believe this Thonet bentwood chair was manufactured in the late nineteen century and are still researching the style.
Shipping via professional furniture mover will be arranged with the buyer at the time of purchase. Please contact us before sending payment. We use professional in-home blanket wrap shippers for the shipping of our larger furniture items. We have found that shipping furniture with professional movers is much safer than shipping in boxes with common carriers. Professional movers also fully insure furniture items, whereas common carriers DO NOT. It does take a little while for you to receive your item, but it will arrive in beautiful condition. A crating charge of $40.00 will be added to the shipping charges. When you receive the shipment, inspect it before you sign off on the item in case there is damage. If there is damaged in transit, a claim must be filed with the carrier. We will assist the buyer by providing whatever documents are needed to file the claim.
You are more than welcome to use any blanket wrap shipper of your choice (a list of various shippers is included below). Should you wish to use a different company, you will be responsible for making all of the arrangements and for making payment to the shipper. We will do whatever we can to accommodate the shipper when they arrange pick up. Shipping time is currently running 4-8 weeks from the date of clear payment with the shippers we use. Once the item has been picked up, we will supply you with the shipper's contact information if it is one of our shippers you have decided to use. Please realize, once the item leaves our warehouse, it is in the shipper's possession and you and the shipper are responsible for coordinating the delivery time.
