The pitch control range setting can be set at +/-8%, +/-12%, +/-25% or +/-100% in the Set-up dialog box. 7. AUTO/MANUAL/PRE Beat Counter This Beat Counter gives you the absolute safe beat detection and beat match with three advanced BPM management features. There are three different BPM modes, auto, manual, and pre count modes. In the auto BPM mode, you don't need to do anything in order to count the BPM. This auto BPM mode works very well with most of the dance music like HipHop, Techno, Jungle, Industrial, Drum'n'Bass, and etc. If you want to use the BPM detection manually, a selection tab exists for entering the tempo. If you want to use an accurate BPM for songs in every situation, you can pre-count the BPM data in the MP3 Editor S/W that comes with D-Vinyl2020TM and store the BPM data in the MP3 file directly. In the beat mix section of D-Vinyl2020TM you can control all your mixes under the same BPM. 8. Effects the four to choose from are: CHOP, AUTO PAN, SOUND EFFECT, and VINYL SIMULATOR. Jog wheel rotation is used for various functions such as detail cueing, track/position searching, playlist searching, and effect control. Pushing the Jog wheel is used for reverse playback of the song during the song playback, used for playlist selection during the paused song, and used for effect inserting when the LED of the Active Effect on. All the basic functions of playing are in this section such as Cue/Load, Pause, Play, Loop buttons and saving and searching the Cue and Loop points. So you can play the song, make and save cue points and make and save Loops. In this section, you have the beat mix functions like beat matching function, Beat Sync function and Auto start function. With these functions, you can match the BPM of 2 songs playing and have advanced functions like Auto/Manual BPM detection and Auto start of the song according to the other songs beat. You can change the pitch with this pitch slider in MP3 player mode. You can change the pitch control setting to + or - 100 %, 25%, 12%, 8% and 6%.
