This limited edition Steelworkers mug was designed after Bethlehem Steel announced the closing of their plant in Bethlehem, PA. Its purpose was to honor all the steelworkers, including my father, who was a steelworker for 33 years, who have helped to build this nation , through their labors over many years. It was produced and copyrighted in 1999.
This extra large limited edition mug measures 4 5/8" high and has a black background and a silver silhouette of Bethlehem's blast furnaces. The words "A Tribute to Our Steelworkers" are in black. The side of the mug is marked with the artist name and copyright.
Produced in 1999 and copyrighted by the artist and proprietor of Yesterdays Jewels, whose father was a steelworker for 33 years. These limited edition mugs have been sold locally through art shows, local shops and at the main offices of Bethlehem Steel's Martin Tower, and the South Bethlehem Historical Society. They will now be offered regularly here at Yesterdays Jewels. This is a great gift for the steelworker and a fitting memento of your loved one and their labors.
