Fabulous art nouveau EPNS belt with beautiful embossed links and an engravable central medallion. Each link has a back bracket that runs across the link, creating a sturdy and stable construction. Each link is stamped with a + sign, EPNS (electroplate nickel silver) and a small flower symbol. The ONLY drawback to this belt is its tiny size. It measures a mere 23 5/8". BUT, but, but, it makes a wonderful necklace that looks great with turtlenecks and scoop tops, which is why it is in my necklace section. There is a nice patina, or you could polish this to a shine with silver cream. It is a wonderful antique jewelry or accessory find. Art nouveau period was from 1890-1910 according to most timelines.
