Russia has produced more cameras than Germany, Japan and America combined. Early FED's (for Felix E. Dherzhinskiye, founder of the Checka - which ultimately became the infamous KGB) are most desirable. These, circa 1930s-early 1960s and exceedingly rare, were produced at a top-secret factory using tooling and plans spirited out of Berlin by secret agents. Eight shutter speeds (to 1/500 second) and six apertures (f/3.5 to f/16). Uses 35mm film. A beautiful display piece and a terrific addition to your collection. As is, not in perfect condition. The dimensionis approx. 6x3x3? inches.
