The Amish Quilter usually spends time in the early morning hours quilting, using propane lamps for extra lighting in the winter months when the daylight starts later. Then, after making the large noon meal for her family, she will find her way back to the quilting frame in the afternoon. Quilting blends into the family structure, and the quilt frame is usually set up in the main living area, right in the heart of the Amish home. From that vantage point, the quilter can still be a listening ear for an eager grandchild who is ready to share the delights of her day at school, and she can also quilt into the evening while her husband is nearby reading.
Every quilt comes with a free fabric storage bag.
