This fine art print is a giclee print of an original papercut design. Papercut Prints are rich vibrant giclee prints that look more like a papercut than the actual cut paper does. This print of the Torah and Jerusalem can be personalized in a number of ways. The boys name can be added to the Torah scrolls (as shown), within a prayer, or above the prayer. It may contain the prayer: "May you be like Efraim and Menashe...", the traditional blessing given by the parents to sons on Friday night, the blessing for success in learning Torah or the blessing for success in learning Torah,or any verse or blessing which will express your gift in the best way. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Within Judaism there are events, themes, and daily rituals that evoke strong reactions, vivid images or feelings of beauty. Goldie's work depicts her inner visions of these ideals. The imagery of Jerusalem within her art, is reflective of the years she lived there. Flowers, nature and music are a basis for the Judaic symbolism in her art. They look more like a papercut than the actual cut paper. Goldie studied graphic design at Emunah Women's College of Graphic design in Jerusalem. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art. She continues to create her art while creatively raising her children in and around her studio in Baltimore, Maryland.
