This may sound odd but believe us, no one is complaining! You may want to use all high wattage fluorescent bulbs in the reflector. They have come a long way to deliver great light with very low heat. You can hold on to these lamps while they are burning with no ill effects. The key to how many lamps or bulbs that can be used in the reflector is how many leafs or segments that have holes. You can add more lamps by simply purchasing a leaf with a hole to accommodate a lamp and socket. You will have to determine if you are using a cone shaped reflector or a parabolic umbrella shaped reflector and order accordingly. Look in this section or search for 'leaf'.
