The western approach to Perth in the Cherrybank Area with the Glasgow Road running from top right to bottom left. The former Bells Cherrybank Garden, which houses Scotland's National Heather Collection lies just above centre left. This area is now being developed, along with the area towards the top right as Scotland's Garden Trust's Calyx Project. The former Bells Whisly HQ building, more recently a Bank of Scotland Office, lies to the left of centre in the angle between the two roads. Cleeve Caravan Park and the Oakbank area extend up the hillside towards the bottom right. The houses in this area are a good example of urban expansion through the building of late 20th century low density private housing schemes. The Perth Academy/Viewlands Primary School campus occipies the bottom right corner. Perth By-Pass cuts through the top left.
