Life seems so often a transitory, fleeting and confusing experience. Along the journey, we need relevant reference points to help us find new strength and wisdom to face with courage the old challenges of our faltering attempts to make sense of our human existence. This collection of Roberts writings give fresh insights but above all biblical faith the vocabulary may be contemporary, but the faith to which he points (and therefore of which he regularly imbibes) is the faith of relationship, personal relationship with a personal God. Here is an opportunity for us to regain strength for the road ahead and benefit from Roberts wisdom. For this I am truly grateful.

For me Roberts poetry is a rich descriptive delicatessen of spiritual verse. The imagery, the subtlety, the delicacy of the language all combine to deliver a salve to the eyes of the heart and soul. Above all, its just a pleasure to read!
