This item is the Multimedia Interface for StarterKit-3 with LCD Panel.
Our Multimedia Interface (MI) for TRITON provides a directly connected QVGA TFT LCD touch screen, as well as a plug-in interface for the TRITON-CAM camera module. Different versions of the MI are provided for StarterKit-3 (PXA270) and StarterKit-4 (PXA320), and the MI is available with or without the LCD.
The MI plugs directly into the 50-pin headers and LCD header on the front of the StarterKit, and these headers are carried through to the top of the MI for development purposes. With a TRITON-CAM and LCD, running the sample application provided, the image captured by the camera may be displayed in real-time.
The LCD is a Sharp LQ035Q7DH06 Transflective Active-Matrix colour TFT LCD module with 320 x 240 resolution.
The MI's LCD display is connected directly to the PXA270 or PXA320's LCD output, so the MI offers a touch-screen display solution which is a more useful development environment than a display connected to the StarterKit's analog VGA output.
