Trip programme
1st day Arrival - Aosta
Arrival to the Aosta Valley during the day, accomodation in hotel. Meeting with our guide, welcome drink and presentation of the Tour. Visit to discover the Roman and Medieval Aosta, in order to discover archaelogical testimonies still well visibile and legible in the modern town: the Arch of August, the Praetorian Gates, the Theatre, the holy area with the Cryptoportico, the Roman Walls, the S.Orso Collegiate. Dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day Cogne - Fénis
Breakfast in hotel. Leaving for the Cogne Valley, guided visit to the Gran Paradiso National Park and to the characteristic village of Cogne. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon transfer to Fénis to visit its stately castle. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. Evening at the Casino'. Overnight stay.
3rd day Chamonix
Breakfast in hotel, departure for Chamonix. Ascent with the typical rack train to Montenvers to admire the spectacular blue tongue of the Mer de Glace, the permanent glacier of the Mont Blanc. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon, free time to visit the town. Transfer to Geneva. Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
4th day Geneva
Breakfast in hotel. In the morning orientative tour by bus of the smallest of the biggest capitals, situated on the shore of the Léman Lake. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon free time to do shopping and for having a walk along the lake to admire the beautifulness of the Parks, of the flowery gardens and the famous water jet, symbol of Geneva. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel. Lunch at restaurant..
5th day Thun - Interlaken
Breakfast in hotel. Transfer to Thun to sail by boat. Lunch on board. Arrival to Interlaken, a place situated between the Lakes Thun and Brienz, the shores of which fascinate for the historical castles, the picturesque parks and the strong contrast between high mountains and sweet hills. Free time to visit the town. Accomodation in hotel, dinner and overnight stay.
6th day Interlaken
Breakfast in hotel. Ascent on to the top of the glacier of the Jungfrau, considered as one of the alpine heritages of Unisco, with the highest rack train in Europe(3.450 m). Grand views and never-ending emotions. Lunch at the top level. In the afternoon back to Interlaken. Dinner in hotel and free evening. Overnight stay.
7th day Stresa
Breakfast in hotel. Departure for Stresa on the Maggiore Lake and boarding to discover the fascinating Borromee Islands: the Isola Madre, the biggest and most characteristic because of its cosy and enchanting atmosphere; the Isola dei Pescatori and stop for lunch with the possibility to taste typical dishes of the local cuisine, which bases itself on fish; the Isola Bella. Guided visit to the Borromeo Palace, going back to the Baroque age; inside it priceless artistic masterpieces. Back to Stresa and departure for Milan. Accomodation in hotel, dinner, free evening. Overnight stay.
8th day Milan
Breakfast in hotel. Guided visit to the town of Milan to discover the elegance, the value and the magnificence of the artistic masterpieces of the biggest economic capital city in the north of Italy. Of particular importance the Duomo, gotique building going back to the XIV century, the Teatro alla Scala, the Sforzesco Castle, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, centre of high and cultural life. Lunch at restaurant. In the afternoon free time for shopping. Back to the hotel for dinner. Overnight stay.
9th day Departure
Breakfast in hotel. Departure and end of our services.

Full board treatment from the dinner of the first day to the breakfast of the last day (welcome drink, beverage, typical lunches and dinners). N.B. For technical reasons the foreseen itinerary could be subjected to some changes; in any case all the services and visits programmed will be assured. In case of long weekends, religious or civil holiday, for particular periods of the year (ex. August),in occasion of expositions and fairs the organizer could apply an additional charge which will be communicated at the moment of the request.
