I purchased this unit for our 20 ft. runabout boat. Although we don't have a cabin for privacy, West Marine offers a "privacy curtain" for $30, which I see as a great accessory. So far, I've only used the unit once, while offshore fishing. As was commented regarding the seals, I had filled the unit with its 3 gallons of flush water, put some "porta-potty deoderizer/anti bacterial liquid" in the 6 gallon collection unit, and didn't have any leakage problems.
