Danny and Oxide Pang are back with a sequel to their triumphant thriller The Eye (2002). This time with a different cast and story, the Pang brothers present another woman troubled by visions that cross the spirit world into that of the living.
Joey is a beautiful albeit unhappy woman. Suffering from emotional distress, she undergoes a series of failed suicide attempts, only to one day find out that she is in fact pregnant with the child of her ex-lover. What begins as an intense love and joy for the unborn child, soon turns into paranoia as she begins to experience more and more disturbing visions of shadowy strangers and troubling encounters. Now haunted by these visions and tortured with the notion of abortion, Joey reconnects with her ex-lover in an attempt to quell what she is experiencing. Although, she gets more than she bargained for with what he has to say.
