Trip Programme
1st day Arrival - Aosta
Arrival to the Aosta Valley, accomodation in hotel, meeting with our guide, welcome drink and presentation of the tour. Guided visit to the discovery of the Roman and Medieval Aosta, among paths representing archaeological testimonies still well visible in the modern town: the Arch of August, the Praetorian Gates, the Theatre, the walls, the S. Orso collegiate Church. Dinner. Overnight stay.
2nd day Saint Pierre - Sarre
Breakfast in hotel. Leaving for Saint Pierre and guided visit to the imposing and fairy-tale castle; inside you will find the Natural Sciences Museum. Lunch at the hotel. In the afternoon leaving for Sarre and guided visit to the castle, hunting seat of the Savoia; of particular value the horns room. Visit to the wineshops in the surroundings for a tasting of the vintage wines of the Aosta Valley and to learn something about the preparation techniques. Back to the hotel. Dinner. Evening at the Casinò. Overnight stay.
3rd day Issogne - Verres
Breakfast in hotel and leaving for Verrès, guided visit to the Saint-Gilles parson's house. Free time for a walk through the characteristic centre ways. Going on to Arnad, panoramic tour of the village and outside visit of the Romanesque Church (XI century).Lunch at restaurant and tasting of local specialities. In the afternoon transfer to Issogne for the visit of the castle; of particular value loggias, frescoes, painted coffered ceiling, the pictures representing scenes of the everyday's life and the pomegranate fountain. Back to the hotel. Typical dinner at farm holidays.
4th day Fenis
Breakfast in hotel. Leaving for Fénis and visit to its famous castle, still existing in the XIII century, particularly impressive and beautiful. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon, on the return way, stop for the tasting of the well known lard of Arnad. End of our services.

N.B. For technical reasons the foreseen itinerary could be subjected to some changes; in any case all the services and visits programmed will be assured.
In case of long weekends, religious or civil holiday, for particular periods of the year (ex. August),in occasion of expositions and fairs the organizer could apply an additional charge which will be communicated at the moment of the request.
