Real Ones are five childhood friends from Bergen, Norway, adding psychedelic zest to a city that has already provided the likes of Royksopp, Annie and Kings of Convenience. Theres the hearty, autumnal nature of warm folk, interspersed with a swirling psychedelic brood. It combines those warm and textured folk harmonies, and intersperses them with the surreal beauty of sound created by lesser known instruments of the East such as the Bouzouki and Indian Jaisalmer violin. The 12" contains mixes by two fine electronic artists: Norway's DJ Prins Thomas, and Britain's 'Beyond The Wizard Sleeve' (Erol Alkan/ Richard Norris)
