The Kentas founded the town of Djoliba with the assistance of the Kontas And Bengaly Fode the father of Amy was a renowned expert of the genealogy of the Kenta dynasty. Thus there always existed a real complicity between Ami the grand lady of 'Griot' art And Salif the great voice of 'Mandingue' song.
