This Fabulous Spanish Treasure Coin is over 500 Years Old!! It is a one reale minted at the Burgos Mint between 1474 and 1504, during the reign of Ferdinand and Isabel. These are the illustrious king and queen who sent Christopher Columbus to the New World. It seems farfetched, but this could have been some of the money that was given to Columbus by Ferdinand and Isabel to buy his ships, the Nina, Pinta, and Santa Maria with. One never knows. This coin bears the shield of Spain on the obverse with the G mintmark to the right. The reverse features quivers and arrows. These coins are wonderful and very collectible. This one is mounted in a 14 kt. yellow gold bezel with a boat shackle at the top. If this coin could talk what history would it tell?
