Authentic Hess's Department Store shoe bag from the mid 1960s, after Max Hess sold the company to Phillip Berman and the name changed from Hess Brother's to Hess's. Hess's closed in the late 1990's. Manufactured by Equitable Bag Co., Inc. L.I.C. Made in the USA. Refered to as the Take Hold Shoe Bag.
