Hess's felt and sateen jewelry presentation case. Hess's was an upscale department store chain based in Allentown, PA, and was founded by Max Hess in 1897. Today, the Hess's stores are part of the May Department Stores and Bon-ton stores. This presentation case is nice and clean, inside and out. The bottom tray has come loose, but could be glued back in place. The snap-tight hinges are in excellent working order. Great for your advertising collection, or to store your pearl necklace in.
