Beautiful Victorian bar pin, circa 1860s to 1880s, with delicate goldfilled metal and a single prongset stone. Beautiful ornamentation around the center design. The attaching pin is bent from wear and hooks into the older C-clasp. The tube hinge helps to date this as an early Victorian piece. Pin measures 2 18" long and is in excellent condition. The stone has a few minor chips where the prongs are, but they do not detract from the simple beauty of this antique jewelry piece.
