From the fabled exploits of now-legendary hero Pat Tillman, to the quarterback legacy established by Joe Spagnola and Danny White and upheld by Jeff Van Raaphorst and Jake Plummer, to great skill players like John Jefferson, to rugged defenders like Terrell Suggs—the Sun Devils have given their fans countless cherished memories. Offensive lineman Juan Roque put it this way: "The best days of my life were when I was a student-athlete at ASU. Donning the Maroon and Gold on Saturdays and playing alongside my Sun Devil brothers was special, and I take great pride in what we accomplished as a team, and I cherish the relationships I have with my brothers to this day."
